Nothing will hold much longer than I let it go.
And can’t go hurting me too far.
I really don’t like having to let somebody know,
Something that may cause an angry heart.

Now the time is right to release a needy hand
And finally care about myself.
I’m really finding out that I can no longer stand,
Having my own dreams been put down on a shelf.

No more managing someone’s cryings for the moon.
No more dancing to someone else’s tune.
From now on, I’ll only do the songs, I really find good enough to play.
From now on, I’ll go on to just following my mind and put my heart away.


I’ve just been drawn into the vortex of a fool.
There’s going vigour down a drain.
It just has dawned on me, this is a whirlpool.
And I must get myself on dry land again.
